Movie Making at Home:

Making movies on a PC, can be time consuming;

But I enjoy it. What you put into it you will get out of it.

If you are new to making home movies, you picked a great time to start.

Making home movies is a great way to capture your memories.

Video cameras have never been as powerful, easy to use,

or inexpensive as they are now.

If you have used video cameras before, you will be surprised at

how much the technology has improved with digital video.

I use Windows Movie Maker.
I have a digital camera a MiniDV digital video camera.
I upload my movies to Windows Movie Maker.

Then add sound effects, If needed. [i try to make them funny]
Do not make them to long! But Short, and sweet.

Before you start making movies;

Defrag Your Hard Drive-
Windows Movie Maker 2.1 makes home movies amazingly fun.

With Movie Maker 2.1, you can create, edit,

and share your home movies

right on your computer.
Build your movie with a few simple drag-and-drops.

Delete bad shots and include only the best scenes.

Then share your movie via the Web, e-mail, or CD.

Using third-party software (on windows XP)

you can even take movies you've made

and turn them into DVD's.
My third party software is Nero.Nero will burn it to a DVD,

that will play on any DVD player.

Vista Movie Maker can brun to DVD or CD.
